Why a home inspection?

If you are in the market to purchase a home it's imperative you have a home inspection as soon as possible.
Realtors are not roofers, or plumbing experts or electricians.
I strongly urge all my clients to have a home inspection as soon as possible before the mortgage process
starts.  If a major issue surfaces then the buyer has a few options:
the sales price may be renegotiated, ask the seller to make the repair to save the sale or ask the seller to put funds in an escrow account for the buyer to do their own repairs after closing.
