For the past two days I showed twelve homes 1960's era vintage homes in Ormond Beach to a client shopping for new residence in Ormond Beach, Florida. The most common element we found was the real wood paneling throughout different rooms either on an entire wall or a partial wall. Beach side homes located within walking distance to the beach vary in architectural style as in year built. Rooms are larger in size than modern earlier built homes. Terrazo floors are popular and typical for vintage 60's era. Ormond Beach homes back then did not have air conditioning so these cold concrete floors felt cooler under foot.
Ormond Beach homes vary in size from beach side cottages with two bedrooms and one bath to ocean front mansions with luxury features and private pools and grand garages.
